Brač Plavac Mali "Majstor" by Stina Winery

Majstor comes from Plavac Mali vineyards located on the south side of the island in the village of Murvica (Dubov Dolac) at an inclination of 45 degrees, only 10 km from the winery in Bol. The Plavac Mali vines are old, some of them around 50 years.

Tasting Notes

Big, boisterous and elegant all at the same time. Red brick colour. Lovely see breeze and salinity on first sniff. The nose reveals aromas of ripe red fruit, licorice and wet stone. Full-bodied wine with lots of blackberry, eucalyptus and sea saltiness on the palate and tamed but very present tannins. The aftertaste is long with notes of spiciness. (One of my top five Croatian Plavac Mali wines!)
