A pretty, floral nose of rose petal, fresh red berry fruit and subtle wood aromas give way to a robust, structured palate. Youthful acidity and a strong tannic backbone keep the alcohol in check making this well balanced, well made, and reasonably complex. Some mocha, violet, ripe forest fruits and sweet spice ride a dry and sturdy finish. Will improve over the next few years.
