Still settling down in the bottle, but beautifully poised. Smoky nose, tobacco leaf in particular, marries with damson and blackberry aromas. Pencil shavings too. Admiral depth, power, grace and balance. The fruit is clean and pronounced, while the structure shows all the impressive hallmarks of a quality age worthy vintage. Undoubdedly goping to be an outstanding wine in the coming decades. Fill the cellar.
