Petit Verdot

One of the six permitted varieties in a traditional Bordeaux red wine, Petit Verdot’s small, round grapes are valued for the additional colour, flavour and tannins they bring to the blend. For so long a bit part player, the grape has recently begun to find success as a mono-varietal wine in warmer climate growing regions across the world.
