Likos is Vigne Mastrodomenico's flagship wine. It is produced from vineyards in Rapolla and vilified in the village of Barile in the Mastrodomenico family's historic grotto cellars.

Vigne Mastrodomenico’s 2007 vintage is a stunning example of what can be done with minimal intervention in both the vineyard and the cellar. Strong and structured with plenty of blackberry fruit, *Likos* delivers layers of spice, liquorice, cola, balsam, chocolate and prune through a full bodied, unfiltered palate that finishes with depth and concentration. This will last a decade and more and will no doubt get considerably better as time goes on.
