Aglianico del Vulture

Wines made from Aglianico del Vulture

"Il Repertorio"

Aglianico del Vulture (100%)

"Closed nose, but some notes of black cherry and balsam emerging with time. A little bit of vanilla also. Very structured in the mouth. Lots of life ahead of it. Balanced, with a nice complex finish of black cherry, liquorice and sweet spice. It’s structured yet fresh and has a lot of personality."

Aglianico del Vulture DOC "Serra del Prete"

Azienda Agricola Musto Carmelitano , Basilicata, Italy

Aglianico del Vulture (100%)

"A sumptuously deep and brooding nose of fleshy dark fruit with balsam and thyme. Lots of intense black fruit and liquorice on the palate, a gripping backbone of acidity and firm but elegant and ripe tannins. Finishes well with distinctively typical varietal notes of black cherry and balsam."
