Cannellino di Frascati is made from botrytised grapes grown in the same production area as Frascati Superiore DOCG. #### Where is Cannellino di Frascati DOCG made? There are only a handful of permitted villages within the production zone. These are Frascati, Grottaferrata, Monte Porzio Catone, Roma and Monte Compatri, all located within Provincia di Roma. #### Which grape varieties are used in Cannellino di Frascati DOCG? The main grape varieties in Cannellino di Frascati are Malvasia del Lazio and / or Malvasia Bianca di Candia. Between them, or individually, they must represent a minimum of 70% of the blend. Malvasia del Lazio is known as Malvasia Puntinata in the Frascati area. A range of different grapes can make up the rest of the wine.
