Diolinoir

Diolinoir was created at the Agroscope research centre near Lausanne, Switzerland in the early nineteen seventies. An artificial crossing of Rouge de Diolly (also known as Robin Noir) and Pinot Noir, the variety was developed with the aim of producing a resilient and disease resistant red grape which could be used to enrich the colour of blends.
