Salento IGP Negroamaro "Jonico" by Cantina Fiorentino

Jonico is an organic wine produced with Negroamaro cultivated at about 75m above sea level. It spends around four months in French barrique before release. It is part of the winery’s Valle Dell’Asso line which references the winery’s old name before its acquisition by the new owners.

Tasting Notes

Ripe nose of cherry fruit, potpourri, clove, some smoke and vanilla. Elegant mouthfeel, some notes of dried berry fruit, violets, with moderate depth, tannin and acidity. Good quality organic wine with admirable length and complexity.
