Faint oxidation on these nose. Beautiful silky texture and moth feel. Faded, but elegant notes of hazelnut. Energetic. Chewy, very faint wood notes.

Subtle nose, quite restrained, but intriguing mix of dark mulberry fruit and oxidative notes. Hazelnut and brioche submerged in plum and prune on the palate, which although still a little shutdown, is well structured and firm with prominent acidity. Slight woodiness to the finish, but wrapped in fruit cake and sweet spice. More life ahead of it. “Perfect vintage”.

Colour is garnet trending toward tawny. Clear oxidative notes on the nose. Hazelnut. Very tertiary. Cherry liquor. Black pepper, carob, balsam. Very savoury, moorish palate, hazelnut, alcohol warmth. Arguably a little tired and the finish is clearly sherried, but there is enough character and intrigue to entertain.

Very floral, notes of violet. Pretty, lifted. Lots of plum and blackberry, perhaps a little herbal. Some faint tobacco. Very silky in the mouth, smooth and mellow tannin. Moorish. Extremely elegant.

Seductive nose, deep brooding fruit already merging with some tertiary notes of balsam, carob (eucalyptus?) - palate is quite defined, built around fresh cherry. Tannins are sinewy, chewy, but vibrant.
