Fragrant nose that wraps fresh cherries in aromas of thyme and fennel. There’s an attractive stalky note complimenting gentle tobacco. The palate is light and soft, but not without the rustic country grip typical of Sangiovese. Moderate tannin, fresh red fruit and a dry, modest finish. Good lunch time wine.
