Kaplja is made from a blend of Chardonnay, Malvasia Istriana, and Friulano, grown in marl and sandstone rich soils. Maceration in big oak barrels for 60 to 90 days, spontaneous fermentation in 20 or 30 hl barrels where it stays for at least three years before release.
