Tasting Notes

This seven year old Vranec, not so surprisingly, proved to be still young. Vibrant dark red colour. A fruit forward wine with intense smell of red cherries, ripe plums and lots of spices. The palate is rich in flavours of dark forest berries, meaty cherries, black currant and additional hints of underwood. Luscious velvety tannins being backed by acidity creating a very good balance. The grapes for this wine come from the village of Brushani, one of the microlocalities in the Tikves Wine District known for growing excellent Vranec and Stanushina grapes.

Deep red colour with a purple hue. Very fruity on the nose with aromas of dark forrest berries, ripe plums and hints of cranberries. The palate is rich with intense flavours of dark fruits like black currant, ripe cherry, dried plum spiced and undertones of vanilla. Lovely and elegant finish.
