Chianti Classico DOCG by Castello di Albola

The Castello di Albola Chianti Classico is grown in the high altitude of Radda in Chianti where it benefits from high acidity and stony soils. Since the 2012 vintage it has been produced exclusively with Sangiovese. Prior to this around 10% Ciliegiolo was added.

Tasting Notes

Deliciously fresh summer fruits exude from a light, perfumed nose. The palate is expressive and vibrant, carrying waves of fun along a spike edge of acidity before climaxing with notes of red currant and sweet spice.
