Prespa

Prespa is one of North Macedonia's officially registered wine districts. There are currently no wineries there however.

Prespa

Prespa is a region shared between [Greece](/country/greece), Albania and the Republic of Macedonia. It is known as the Prespa Valley and shares the same name with the two Prespa lakes which are situated in the middle of the region/valley. It is surrounded by the Baba Mountains from the east, the Bigla from the north, the Galicica from the west and the Suva Gora from the south. The climate in the Prespa Valley is moderately continental, to Mediterranean, with warm summers and mild winters. The amount of vineyards plantations here is relatively modest.
