Côtes du Rhône AOC is a large area in the southern Rhône Valley producing good value wines from a blend of Grenache and Syrah.
Côtes du Rhône is known and appreciated throughout the world. Its success has been put down to its ability to churn out rich, ripe quaffable red blends that don't break the bank. White and rosé wines are also made but carry less appeal.
