Primorska borders Italy in the west of Slovenia. It is home to complex whites wines from various grape varieties. They key area here is Goriška Brda.
Goriška Brda is perhaps the most famous wine growing area in Slovenia. It is home to around fifty wineries and is best known for its wonderful expressions of the white Rebula grape.
