Intensely aromatic Riesling is amongst the world’s most important white wine grape varieties. Used to make dry, sweet and sparkling wines, it is most synonymous with the German regions of Mosel, Pfalz, Rheinhessen and Rheingau, from where the most iconic expressions hail.
Offspring: Kerner, Manzoni Bianco, Müller-Thurgau, Scheurebe"Good solid Riesling from a well respected producer. The nose already hints at some of the varietal petrol laced nose to come, but retains ripe notes of zesty lemon and peach. On the palate a respectable concentration of citrus and tangy grapefruit rubs up against some mineral character and a steely backbone of acidity."
