Cesanese Comune

Cesanese Comune is a red grape variety found in Lazio. The name derives from the town of Cesano just south of Rome and the best wines come from the Cesanese del Piglio DOCG and Cesanese di Olevano Romano. It is common around the Castelli Romani area of Lazio.
