Verdicchio is an Italian grape variety grown mainly in Le Marche. It is also known elsewhere in Italy as Trebbiano di Soave, Trebbiano di Lugana and Trebbiano Verde, even if the wines are considerably different in Le Marche. It's greatest expression is in the wines of Jesi and Matelica.
"Fresh and fragrant, the faint scent of wet herbs and crisp green apple characterises the nose, while the palate is full of charm and thirst quenching acidity. Gentle notes of tree fruit grace the finish. This is a fantastic example of what Verdicchio from Jesi should taste like."
