Carménère

Carménère is a dark skinned grape variety originally from the Bordeaux region of France. It produces wines with a brilliant crimson colour, medium body and aromatic intensity. Whilst still a permitted variety in Bordeaux blends, the grape is now most synonymous with the Central Valley region of Chile.

Carménère (100%)

"100% Carmenere, this is a fantastic expression of both grape and territory. Soft, fleshy fruit come forward with a perfumed character that quickly reveals complex layers of pepper and blackcurrant. It’s well crafted, ripe, balanced and in possession of admirable length. Drinking exceptionally well now."
