I've been busy tasting this month in preparation for the re-launch of this website and have stumbled across some excellent wines. Much of the focus has been on a flurry of Italian wines that arrived at the start of the month, delayed until after the summer heat. Chianti Classico dominated, with the wines of Vigna really standing out and impressing.
Produced from Sangiovese, Chianti Classico is one of Tuscany's great red wines and home to some of the country's most beautiful estates.
