Morellino di Scansano DOCG "Vigna Benefizio"

Cantina Vignaioli del Morellino di Scansano , Tuscany, Italy

Sangiovese (100%)

"The wine shows a medium ruby colour, clear and shiny, not a hint of garnet at the moment. The nose reveals nuances of sour cherries, blueberries, a hint of violets and spices like cloves and vanilla,. The palate is fresh and juicy, offering crunchy acidity, slight drying tannins and warming alcohol. The finish is lingering with nuances of red and black cherries, complemented by a delicate note of nutmeg. Still very young."

Morellino di Scansano DOCG "Vigna Benefizio"

Cantina Vignaioli del Morellino di Scansano , Tuscany, Italy

Sangiovese (100%)

"The wine shows a medium ruby colour. The nose is spicy and savoury, slightly restrained, opening up with nuances of withered flowers and dried cherries. The palate offers a classic Sangiovese vibe: slightly rough tannins, high acidity, savoury notes of tomato leaves and hard, irony character. Looks promising but needs more time."

Morellino di Scansano DOCG "Sicomoro"

Cantina Vignaioli del Morellino di Scansano , Tuscany, Italy

Sangiovese (100%)

"The wine shows a medium ruby colour with a garnet rim. The nose is rather discreet, with aeration opening up nuances of fallen leaves, a hint of sweet spices, dried cranberries and goji berries. The palate reveals a sound imprint of oak, grippy tannins and bold character. The finish is warming and spicy. An autumn wine."

Lalande-de-Pomerol AOC ""

Clos des Tuileries , Bordeaux, France

"Deep ruby colour. An interesting nose is full of blackberries, black current, and nuances of smoke and incense. Fleshy and rich but fresh, with suave tannins, this wine has a great value and will pair well with smoked meats, hard cheeses, and dark chocolate desserts."

"Deep purple-ruby colour. Intense nose of black cherries, black currant, and tobacco leaf. Opulent and rich, it is still very fresh and elegant with smooth tannins and lively acidity. To serve with lamb chops accompanied with a potato gratin."
